Every guest has a “who invited you”.
Every pass ends with a personal “Bring someone” link. Whoever opens it sees the party and the date, never the address, and asks to come. The request lands with you with the whole chain on it: Maya ← Jonas ← crew. You approve or decline. Set how far the links go — one hop from crew, two, three — and close invitations with one switch when the list is full. At the door, the name comes with “with Jonas ← crew” so your door person doesn’t have to ask. Next: approval rules by degree and a blocklist shared across your crew’s parties.
Drop the address
The address is the ticket.
Location stays hidden — not “city only”, hidden. Every pass says “Address drops later” until the crew drops it: one action puts it on every pass page and sends it by email to everyone with a pass, in one go. Anyone approved after that gets it with their pass. Cancel someone and their QR dies and their pass page says cancelled. No export, no mail merge, no screenshot that works. SMS and WhatsApp on Night.
The door
One scan. Green, red, or magenta.
The scanner is a web page any phone can open — no app store, no login for staff, just a door PIN. Unlocking it saves the list to the phone, so with no signal it still answers, queues the check-ins and syncs when it finds signal; if two doors let the same person in, the later one is corrected. A reload with no signal still shows the door. Green = in. Red = already used, shows who, when and which door — name your phones “north gate”, “stairs”. Magenta = not on the list. Dead phone? Find them by name. Wrong scan? Undo it, offline too. Plus-one and comp counters come with Night.

FAQ
Questions people ask at the door.
Do guests need an app?
No. They get a link; the pass is a web page and, on Night, an Apple/Google Wallet pass.
Does the scanner work without internet?
Yes. Unlocking the door saves the list to the phone. With no signal it answers from that list, queues the check-ins and syncs when it finds signal. If two doors let the same person in, the later one is corrected and told who did it first, and where.
Can I hide the location completely?
Yes. Mark the address private and every pass, pass page and email says “Address drops later” — nothing but the date until you drop it. Just don’t print the venue on the flyer.
What happens if someone forwards their pass?
A pass scans once. The second scan shows red with the first scan’s time and door. Every guest is tied to who invited them, so you know whose chain leaked — and you can cancel the pass.
Is it GDPR compliant?
Data is minimised (name + one contact), hosted in the EU and exportable. After the party you purge guest data with one action: names become initials, emails and passes go, the counts stay. Scheduled deletion is coming.
Can I take money?
Not through us. Take cash or a payment link at the door, or sell on RA/Shotgun and import the list.
Can I import my list from Google Forms or Sheets?
Yes. Download the responses as CSV or paste the rows, map the columns, done. Duplicates and bad emails are flagged before anything is added.
What if a guest’s phone is dead at the door?
Find them by name and check them in by hand. It’s logged the same way as a scan, and a wrong tap can be undone.
How is this different from Partiful?
Partiful is a great free invite for a birthday. It shows your city before RSVP, reveals the street the moment someone RSVPs, has no “who invited you”, and its scanner needs signal.
